With the incidence of HIV increasing among Hispanics, especially Hispanic women, VIA Trend #3 presents a serious challenge.  70% of Hispanic women living with HIV reported their infection was the result of unprotected heterosexual sex.

As we celebrate National Health Center week, we are curious about what strategies health centers are using to help reduce the escalation of HIV in the Hispanic community. What are the strategies that have made an impact?

Con el incremento de la incidencia de VIH entre Hispanos, especialmente Hispanas, los datos presentados en TENDENCIA #3 de VIA presentan un desafío serio.  El 70% de las Hispanas viviendo con el VIH reportó que su infección fue el resultado de relaciones sexuales heterosexuales sin protección.

Mientras celebramos la Semana Nacional de Centros de Salud, tenemos curiosidad sobre las estrategias que los Centros de Salud están implementando para ayudar a reducir el incremento de VIH en la comunidad Hispana. ¿Cuáles son las estrategias que han tenido un impacto?
